A Delaney, Mommy, and Daddy Day

Well, the day that we have been thinking about for so long has come and gone-meet the teacher day! It seems so official that Delaney is really starting school now. Maybe that's why I had to hold back the tears while we were seeing her classroom for the first time. She was pretty shy in front of her teacher, Mrs. Morel, who seems super nice. But hopefully Monday morning, with the other kids there, it will ease the shyness! I just don't want Delaney to see me cry!

This was on the way to Delaney's school. As you can see, Rainbow Sparkle came with us. Delaney considered taking her into her classroom, but Ross and I talked her out of it!
(Ross and Delaney during our movie.)
After leaving school, we all went to the movies in Slidell to see WALL-E. (Mrs. Mary kept Spencer, and I missed him!) We enjoyed the cute movie, as well as our traditional popcorn and M&Ms. One time during the show, Delaney said,"Hey, Mama, if you eat a popcorn and an M&M at the same time, it tastes good!". After the show was over, we had supper at Olive Garden. The last time the three of us were at Olive Garden was after one of my last pregnancy appointments with Spencer in my belly! That was just about one year ago! We had a good day together!
